Flatwork can be challenging for concrete contractors. For high-end residential and commercial construction, concrete producers need a mix that can be easy to place and finish. For these applications, the use of MIRA® series of mid-range water reducers is the key.

The MIRA® family of mid-range water reducers bridge the performance between normal and high-range water reduction. It offers excellent linear dosage water reduction capability, near neutral set times over a wide range of dosages, and excellent placement, and finishing properties.

Some MIRA® products are formulated to provide excellent water reduction, compressive strength and set time when used in mix designs containing high pozzolan contents. These performance improvements are due to a superior dispersion and strength enhancing capability, plus superior quality control that ensures consistent performance.

Other MIRA® products are formulated to provide excellent overall performance as low-range to mid-range linear-dose water reducers. These can be used in a variety of applications, including readymix, paving mixes, and precast products. They produce higher early and ultimate compressive strengths, with neutral set times, allowing higher levels of water reduction less permeable and more durable concrete.

Mid Range Water Reducing Admixtures

MIRA® 62

MIRA® 62 is a linear dose water-reducing and mid-range water-reducing admixture manufactured under rigorous quality control to ensure uniform, predictable performance. MIRA® 62 does not contain added calcium chloride. MIRA® 62 weighs approximately 8.8 lbs/gal (1.06 kg/L). The superior dispersion capability of MIRA® 62 produces concrete with significantly improved early and ultimate compressive strength while maintaining near-neutral set times even in lower temperatures. The linear dose water reduction capability of MIRA® 62 also produces less permeable, more durable concrete.
Mid Range Water Reducing Admixtures

MIRA® 95

MIRA® 95 is a polycarboxylate-based mird-range water-reducing admixture specifically formulated to meet the needs of the concrete industry. It is developed to deliver superior water reduction across a range of dosage rates by efficiently dispersing cement agglomerates within the concrete matrix.  This superior dispersion capability results in concrete with significantly improved early and ultimate compressive strength, while maintaining near-neutral set times and producing less permeable, more durable concrete.   Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM C494 Type A & F
Mid Range Water Reducing Admixtures

MIRA® 110

MIRA® 110 is a linear dose mid-range and high-range water-reducing admixture, manufactured under rigorous quality control to ensure uniform, predictable performance. MIRA® 110 does not contain added calcium chloride. MIRA® 110 weighs approximately 8.8 lbs/gal (1.06 kg/L).  The superior dispersion capability of MIRA 110 produces concrete with significantly improved early and ultimate compressive strength. MIRA® 110 is formulated to provide neutral set times at lower ambient temperatures and/or with the use of pozzolans. At 70°F (20°C) MIRA® 110 will provide fast set times.
