Chryso®V-Mar® 3: Thixotropic Improvement

Chryso®V-Mar® 3 is a thixotropic admixture that enhances the viscosity and stability of self-consolidating concrete (SCC). It improves moisture tolerance, prevents aggregate segregation, and enhances workability and surface appearance. With minimal impact on air entrainment and normal set times, it also helps reduce pump pressure, improves consistency in challenging conditions like high winds or low humidity, and mitigates both plastic and drying shrinkage cracks.

Chryso®V-Mar® F100: Improved Productivity

Chryso®V-Mar® F100 is a high-performance admixture developed for zero and low slump concrete, enhancing lubricity in low water content mixes to improve surface quality, productivity, and ease of placement. It modifies the concrete’s rheology to deliver cohesive, smooth-flowing mixes with improved workability that resists stickiness. This allows for efficient extrusion, faster discharge rates, and a consistently refined surface finish throughout the application.

Chryso®V-Mar VSC500

Chryso®V-Mar VSC500 is a new generation liquid admixture designed to enable the production of superior quality pervious concrete by imparting an enhanced paste rheology and controlling the hydration of cementitious materials. It incorporates a unique, patented biopolymer, and is manufactured under closely controlled conditions to provide uniform, predictable performance.   Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM C494 Type D

Contractors often struggle to finish concrete, particularly in environments with high evaporation or when working with harsh aggregates or lower-carbon cementitious mixes like Type 1L cement. Conventional admixtures, such as evaporation retarding agents or silica-based additives, provide surface benefits but tend to lack in delivering internal consistency and long-term durability.

As the concrete moves, the polymers slide and reduce internal friction and pump pressure, then interlock again once the energy stops, returning the concrete to its original state.
